I grew up in a tiny town in Southeastern Indiana in the 80's and early 90's. Food played a dominate roll in our household. Most of it was inspired by Southern classics...corn breads, fried chicken, gravy, etc...As I got older and began to see the world my tastes changed and I began to love exploring new food/taste combinations.
My Grandmother and Mother taught me to cook from an early age. I
wasn't very interested when I was younger, but now I love it. I like
experimenting with spices and flavors...trying new things. I love the
satisfaction of making a great meal my friends and family enjoy.
I hate baking, but I absolutely love sweets. My hardest food adventure has been trying to make healthier deserts.
